Bright Futures is a grassroots, community-based program that creates partnerships and utilizes community resources for the common goals of helping our kids and strengthening our families and community. Bright Futures is about cultural change and building a community where education is important and valued.

Mission: Together committing all that we are to enrich the life of a child. Bright Futures provides a path for communities to engage everyone in a collective movement to develop relationships and channel resources supporting education and enabling children to achieve success. By living out our Mission, we create a brighter future for our children in communities worldwide. 

Vision: Inspiring community partnerships that open a way for all children to learn, lead and serve to their full potential now and in the future. 

Everyday there are immediate needs to help a child be successful. Our goal is to meet any child’s basic needs within 24 hours of identification of that need. Utilizing local resources and social media, most needs can be met quickly whether it is providing clothing or school supplies. 

We have been highly successful in creating a rapid response system that, in most cases, meets that child’s need in minutes rather than the original 24-hour goal.

Not all students have the structure in place to provide adequate food when school is out. The weekend backpack program identifies those students who would benefit from a backpack of food going home each weekend.
