The youth athletics organizations found in this section are sponsored by community entities, not Neosho School District.

NEOSHO YOUTH BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

This organization is designed to work with the Neosho varsity programs in the development of our youth basketball players. Their mission is to work in conjunction with our varsity coaches in promoting camps, leagues and training that is in the high school programs' best interest.  

It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses all funding to promote our basketball programs and players by providing affordable playing opportunities locally in leagues as well camps and training which allows high level coaching for our young players.

NEOSHO YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE

The Neosho Youth Football League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation formed in 2009. They are committed to: developing the athletic capabilities of young people in a safe and encouraging environment through involvement in the team sport of football, promoting a physical, mental and moral sense of well being in all of the participating youth by teaching that dedication and commitment to a common cause benefits not only the team, but the individual as well; and developing in our participants a keen sense of competition, sportsmanship and understanding of the meaning of fair play.

NEOSHO YOUTH WRESTLING

Mission Statement: The Mission of Neosho Wrestling is to build CHAMPIONS on and off the mat. Champions are defined by our character, not particularly gold medals. Our vision for the program is to teach each wrestler a solid foundation of fundamentals in all three aspects of training (technical, physical, & mental) while emphasizing understanding and development of our core values (faith, team/FAMILY, work, persistence, loyalty, learning from loss, & humility). With the help of parents and wrestlers trusting in this process we will accomplish our mission and vision. With mutual respect and a commitment from all those involved we can and will be prepared for overcoming challenges, accomplishing goals, and finding success in all pursuits throughout the journey of life.
