Glenn Oney began teaching for Neosho School District nearly 20 years ago. In 2000, Mr. Oney accepted the challenge of teaching U.S. History and Government at what was then known as the Southwest Alternative Education Center. While many things have changed during his tenure, including the program changing its name to the Jefferson Street Campus as well as Central Campus, his passion for teaching young people has not. Mr. Oney earned two degrees from Missouri Southern State University and spent almost a decade furthering his education in the Teaching American History grant program with fellow Southwest Missouri history teachers.
