Ryan Sheffield joined the Central Campus staff as a teacher in 2007 and became director in 2019. Over this time, he has become deeply invested in the program and is dedicated to its mission of providing the best possible education to all students. Mr. Sheffield believes in the transformative power of learning, is passionate about pursuing and sharing knowledge, and is committed to helping young Jeffersonians become well-rounded, thoughtful, responsible, civically-engaged individuals.. He graduated from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas in 2005 and earned his Master’s Degree from Missouri State in 2017. When he’s not at work, you can find him floating and fishing on local streams, foraging for wild mushrooms, or playing with his food; he loves to be outdoors and to cook.
